Great Buy for the $$
I love the text to speech. Specialy the announcement of street names. I bought my son a Garmin a year ago at $50 more and it only announces turns. I have only scratched the surface on what it can do but am very impressed in all aspects of this item. Now having several years of use I have no complaints. Works as promised though is my sports car it is hard to hear under the engine noise at times. Used outside it purpost I use it on my sailboat for Longitude Latitude readings plus speed reports.

Good GPS
I own serveral GPS's. My employees try to take this one for their trucks. It works very well. Nice big screen. Easy to use. My favorite GPS so far.

Don't buy this
I thought it was a good deal. They are too cheap to include a wall charger. I am not going to sit in my car for hours charging and setting this up. I used my cell phone charger and I don't know if that caused the problem, but this thing froze up. I contacted them and they replaced it. With the new one I tried the cell phone charger again and it acted crazy while I was setting up and learning how to use it. I bought a universal charger and the replacement seems to be working. So much for a sales price. The cost of returning the unit and then buying a universal charger, made the sales price unimportant. Try something different. Maybe with a wall charger....

I have sent this thing back; compared to my previous one (by Garmin) I found it inferior. Fewer gadgets and no choice to download some either. But what turned me off enough to send it back were two other glitches: the colors used by the screen for terrain, streets, etc are very pale (the road to follow is marked in green too, same as the background) which makes for poor contrast, and the screen resolution when the sun shines in the cabin is terrible (I've changed the angling to no avail).

Excellent choice
I bought this for myself and I'm going to buy 2 more for my family. It's very easy to use and easy to see & hear. The price is great for what you get.
