I am running a simple, cheap, sherwoood 600W 5.1 system and these speakers are much better than I expected. If you are on a budget and are looking or suprisingly good sound, this is a great option for you.

Although I've only used them for a total of 4 hours (due to a defaulty new Sony receiver) - I love them. I agree with some previous posts about the speaker wire being too thin - but then - that's easy to correct. The subwoofer technology is simply amazing!

I use these with my Yamaha receiver in my 17x22 living room and the sound was even better than expected. I researched a lot & couldn't find anything worthwhile even close to this price. Highly recommend.
