Exactly what was needed
I bought this to replace an AT&T one that died. Just inserted the SIM card, then transferred all my contacts and calendar data from the desktop. It works perfectly and isn't cluttered with unnecessary AT&T programs. I'll definitely consider unlocked phones in the future.

Works with AT&T
In theory this should work with any GSM provider since it is a quad band. I do know it works with AT&T; it had no problems transferring the SIM from a cheap gophone to this. One weird little quirk of this phone is that you can't turn it off without pulling the battery out. You can disable the sound with a switch, and the power button will disable the radio. That aside, if you've used the Palm OS in the past and enjoyed it, you'll enjoy this phone. It's a good value for $130; I wouldn't pay much more than that, however.

Does not work on Verizon
I had to learn the hard way that this phone does not work with my Verizon account. $130 lesson.

Doesn't work with Telus Network in Ontario
Liked the phone, but was unable to use it with Telus 3G network in Ontario. When trying to find out which phones would I had difficulty trying to get that information.

Palm Centro
Currently own this phone is pretty good. The only downsize the battery consumes quickly.
