Pros This is s very nice machine, very fast to boot up.
Cons As a professional photographer, the screen needs a lot to be desired, and the ability to run a second monitor suffered as there is NO documentation in how to go about using the SECOND MONITORS NATIVE resolution. It runs the second monitor at the laptop resolution The tech support is useless, and it's a common problem as I see in various forums, but no answers. Also, too much crapware

This Computer has been around awhile and have had my eye on this machine from the time it came out and thought I would pick up a i-5 or i-7 processor ! I am so glad I bought this machine and have been putting it threw its paces!Asus is Top Line!!!

This laptop is a great buy for the hardware specs and outstanding warranty. It has no problem running everyday applications but struggles with high end games. I installed Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and it was almost impossible to play on the lowest graphics and performance settings. The touch pad is a little quirky some occasional mis-movements, but other wise stable. Windows seven takes a little getting used to; if you have windows xp I would suggest reading some reviews and weighing the options on this buy. As a for-warning this pc comes with a ton of bloatware installed, it took me an hour to uninstall it all. In summary a well built computer with a few minor problems backed by a outstanding warranty.

I got it for 850 so it was a steal i guess. The run down is it starts fast runs all the good games at a great rate. I play CandC 3 at max everything with no lag, butter smooth. It has srs sound so you do not need to dwnld a driver to eq sound. you can disable track pad when usb mouse is plugged in. facial recognition login is sweet and faster than i can type my password. Every problem I thought i would have, Asus has a solution waiting. Well worth the money. And the brown is almost back, i like it, Windows 7 is also so much fun better than xp, never had vista but used it on other comps and hated it. Internal spkrs are also great do not really need to hook up external but i love bass.

It is very fast and smooth. Love the key set up, so easy and no hitting other keys while typing. Sleek look - it is dark brown but looks like black. Nice and light, very very happy with purchase. Nothing is wrong with this laptop, love it!!!!!
