Features
- Acer eColor Management, a technology which adapts the performance of the panel to different environments, lighting conditions and viewing preferences. Acer eColor Management optimizes the image for an enhanced front-of-screen performance, with a range of user-selected scenarios: standard mode (normal settings for medium-level display performance), text mode (suitable for on-screen viewing of documents, spreadsheets, etc.), graphics mode (for colourful static images) and user modes (lets you fine-tune basic settings and personalize your viewing experience);
- Adaptive Contrast Management (ACM) dynamically adjusts the contrast ratio of the input image to achieve ultra-sharp images. Every scene is analyzed to adjust images frame by frame and enhance color quality, achieving the whitest whites and the deepest blacks. Acer Adaptive Contrast Management allows your LCD monitor to use less power and save energy. The H series supports contrast ratios up to 40000:1.

Out of the box it just looks awesome. Once I plugged it in I didn't like the default settings so it took a little tweaking, but now it is superb. I'm not a big fan of the touch sensitive controls on the front, but now that I have everything set, it's no big deal. I bought this for a big, beautiful picture and it delivered. |

Okay, the value rating for my purchase should be a 10 of 5 (got the refurb deal) and the monitor is amazing. The picture and response time is off the charts good, especially in this price range. I have only one problem with it; my monitor cubby on my desk is too small to accept that much real estate, but what a great problem to have! |

Picked this up to replace a 9 year old 17 inch LCD. Image quality is great for both still and motion. My only problem is the touch sensitive buttons on the face are fairly useless. They often either don't register are all or register a double-tap. Fortunately I don't have to change the settings often. |

Received within 3 days of order - amazing. Bought a refurbished unit, beautiful display & colors, no bad pixels (google images of Hawaii beaches). Displays 2 full pages of legible text side by side with room to spare. Service and product exceeded all expectations. |

Very big display area when set to 1920x1080. Very nice picture. With the inputs in the back I have my Xbox 360 and PC hooked up to it. The input button lets me switch between them easy. Pictures don't show it but the buttons light up in the front on the bottom right.
Only cons are speakers aren't the greatest, but I didn't buy this monitor for the speaker capabilities. Also the heat sensor buttons are a bit fickle, you need a little patience to wait a second or two for them to register. |
