Got this DVD and hooked it up. It was suggested that a download be done which I did. Put in a blue ray disk and played fine. Did not try another disk until my grandaughter wanted Beauty & The Beast (non Blue Ray disk) a week or so latter. After several minutes a message came up saying it could not read disk and to clean disk. I did that and still no luck. I then placed 2 new out of the package DVD's (non blue ray) and the same problem, could not read disk. Emailed Samsung and did what they suggested, still nothing. I believe they will exchange it and I'll let you know. Wish I could send it back to you, but it is 2 days over the 30 day return. |

Upon receiving my Samsung BD-D7500 i quickly hooked it all up only to find out it did no read any of my DVD's. Tech support concluded it had a bad reader lense and had me send it back in. On top of the bad lense, when playing media directly from a USB harddrive or the internet it would play fine for a minute or two then have a long pause (10-20 seconds) then play another 10 seconds before the next pause. I am not too impressed with this device so far. |
