D-Link 7dBi Omni-Directional Indoor Antenna
Installing additional access points or repeaters to optimize your wireless connectivity can be expensive and complicated. A simpler alternative for your home or small office network is to add a wide-range omni-directional antenna such as D-Link's 7dBi Indoor Antenna. The Omni-Directional 7dBi Indoor Antenna can radically broaden signal coverage in an 802.11b/g wireless network. This high-gain antenna, covering all 360° of the network, can also provide better data throughput at much wider distances.
The D-Link Omni-Directional 7dBi Antenna is compatible with most access points and wireless routers available today. The device conveniently comes with a RP-SMA to RP-TNC conversion adapter to match either a SMA or a TNC connector.
Mounting the D-Link Omni-Directional Antenna is a fairly easy task as it comes with a magnetic base unit that can attach solidly onto any metal surface. A 1.5m extension cable and a mounting kit is also included.

The Antenna worked well. Just unscrew the old antenna and screw in the new one. Single did increase to one of the remote desktops, but not as much as I had hoped. Probably need to replace the USB receiver with a different one. |

Signal strength went up by 25 percent and quality doubled after mounting it high enough so cars driving by didn't interfear with the signal. Solid antenna, 5 foot cord, easy to wall mount and nice discount to half the price. Sweet. |
