This is a great player. Contrast is a little off so couldn't see menu. Got refurb on 4/09. Went to Sandisk site and got latest firmware. This gave me settings -- USB -- MSC. Then I could get Rockbox http://www.rockbox.org/download/ Now I can see the menus, I have a clock, and games and.... |

I'd have to say that when I first recieved this for my birthday I was overjoyed! I was very happy and it worked great...for the first 2 months after that everything just kind of stopped working. I had to return it and get a new different mp3. |

Absolutely fantastic! Got this for Christmas, have had it almost 4 mos. now. I'm 46 years old and no whiz with these gadgets, but even I have figured this out. I use windows media, have added downloaded music as well as cd's--also playlists--7 so far. No problems whatsover! Am planning on buying this for my niece and nephew. |

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas and it stopped working several months later. It appears the battery swelled and cracked the back of the case. I notified Sandisk within the warranty period and they would not take care of it. Stay away. |

Great deal, especially since you can upgrade it's memory with a Micro SD card. Other players should use this technology. I recommend this one, pay a little bit more than the cheap brands, but remember, its made by Sandisk, a large and reputable company. |
