After getting used to this phone the only thing I wanted to do with it was throw it under a bus, but because I had paid big for it I had to live with it. I go through phones like Imelda Marcos through shoes, so I new the day would come when I would lose or damage it beyond repair. But would'nt you know it stuck with me like glue for well close to a year, despite doing everything I could to lose it. So what turned me off this phone so much? I hear You ask. Answer the operating system primarily but the layout and difficulty of getting to what you want made me suspect this was a early draft of an operating system laid over some new technology. I previously had the gogle phone but due to an accident in the French Alps with some snow involved I had to say a sad goodbye to that one too. Before that it was several of the S E p9s phones where I had gotten used to a great phone, maybe spoiled. Why did I change then? well for reasons of wanting to try something new and budget.

Great PDA. The only negative would be the quality of the pictures taken by the built-in camera, but you can download software to replace the built-in camera software (High Quality version). There are many, many different programs to download from the web to enhance the 680's use (databases, games, etc.). Make sure you upgrade the Operating System, as well as the update for the camera, because of a ''battery-leak''.

I've been using this phone for several months and really like it a lot. It has all the features that I was looking for in a phone. However, there are a few things I don't like such as: Battery life (Constantly charging the phone), volume adjustment (Constantly having to adjust),and that it's not compatible with ''Yahoo Go.''

I have been using this phone for several months. Palm needs to make several changes. The speaker volumne is always adjusting it's self. This needs to be lockable. The battery life on this phone is terrible. I have to use two batteries to make it thru a normal business day. I would not buy this phone again.

Ordered this phone and actually received a Cingular branded 680 that was designated as unlocked and has the Cingular ROM, not a true Palm unlocked 680. Very disappointed.
