works so well I can pick up cars moving a 100 feet away. does not suck as people say below. It was quiet for me at first too but windows likes to auto mute the microphone hence you cant hear yourself. Unmuted it and bam crystal clear and ready to rock. Good fix if you have a primo headset and dont want another annoying clipon. |

We use these in a school computer lab. Even the best microphones don't last forever in that setting - so a good, basic microphone that doesn't break the bank is important. This one is just that. |

i thought i was getting the best of both worlds(a inexpensive microphone with very good performance).i was totally shocked.i tried to use it talking to my friend online and was totally disappointed.i kept hearing him say get closer,i can't hear you. do you want to know when he finally heard me? well it was when i had to almost put the mic in my mouth.i would never,ever recommend this product to anyone i know. what a disappointment. |

This is not worth the money. Definitely spend more on a better quality. Sound quality is low no volume to it. |

I love Genius products,they are in the market for so long and tried there products from mouse to tablet & scanner. About the MIC, well not bad at all used it in yahoo video chat & recording, its li,ght,adjustible,long cord and china made :-) |
