Having more than five buttons and the first mouse to have an LCD, the Microsoft HKA-00001 SideWinder USB Gaming Mouse is not your usual pointing device. Boasting five programmable game buttons that you can easily customize your “weapon” to fit your gaming style. There's a three-button DPI switch that allows you move from DPI 400, 800, or 2000. (DPI settings can be customized with special software.) Pioneering the first LCD on a mouse, it displays the DPI setting and macro recording icons so there would be less screen interference. There are two vertical metal side buttons as well and a metal wide scroll-wheel for easy navigation. The SideWinder logo also serves as the Quick Launch button for instant access to your Windows Vista Games Explorer. When it comes to gliding your mouse, the SideWinder has replaceable mouse feet and an adjustable mouse weight from 5 to 30 grams in increments of five. I love this mouse!! i have been using it for a couple of weeks and it is the best mouse i have ever used. the red lights and the LCD screen are nice. dpi adjustments are easy. the Microsoft software is easy to set up and use. this is a large mouse. biggest mouse i have ever seen. took a little while to get used to but i love it now. I difinitely recommend it to anyone looking to buy an excellent gaming mouse. |

Im gonna come right out with it, I have a bad temper & take it out on my mouse & keyboard. I have had this mouse for over a year now and after all the abuse I dish out, Its just now showing wear. The right click button sticks... once in a while. This thing comes with extra weights & slide pads. I am back with tigerdirect to purchase another one. Thought I would share some input while I was here. I am a grafx artist as well as an avid gammer. I play where I work. This machine of a mouse has pull double duty & I am looking forward to another great year with my next purchase of this product. |

I think that the people that gave this Gaming Mouse a bad review must have gotten a bad product which happens sometimes.Or that they did not read the instructions first,and installed the Mouse 1st before the Drivers.I installed the Drivers and after my PC restarted i installed the Mouse and this let me tell you that i love it.It fits my hand really nice,and i have medium size hands.The DPi feature is great,Oblivion cant benefit from the extra Buttons,but all my War games benifit 100%.Just from the options in the game i program the Buttons,WOW is all i could say.This is a great Product.Recommend to any body looking for Excellence and Greatness.. |

This mouse is great, the mouse comes with 5 programmable buttons, and its VERY durable. Also was great about this mouse is that the bottom of the mouse lights up red, not the optical laser, but there are red lights underneath the mouse. Another thing about this mouse is that it has 3 buttons on the top of the mouse where you can adjust the speed of the mouse, there's '400', '800' and '2000', it also comes with mouse weights so you can adjust exactly how heavy you want your mouse to be.
One thing about this mouse is the box, the packing is a little strange...
Over all this is a must have for PC gamers. |

This is an Excellent mouse one of the best features is the weight box is connected to the actual mouse so it gives the mouse a very weightless wireless feel. AND also it keeps people from loosing the freaking box of weights. Very quick reaction time excellent button placement. Not recommended for a child that's under 12, its a little big and wonky for smaller hand users. Still an excellent high class Ferrari of a mouse. |
