i took my tomtom on my first trip yesterday. 800 miles round trip. it never missed a beat and performed flawlessly. routed me around kansas city and avoided friday afternoon rush hr traffic totally. i wonder how i ever traveled without my gps. i highly recommend this unit.... |

You can't download map updates after one year from Tom Tom Home. You have to pay $79 for them. Are you kidding me? |

This was a gift for my daughter. She travels with her job sometimes. Just yesterday she was
in downtown Tulsa going to a meeting and the roads are being worked on extensively. She said
it had to give her two alternative routes... talked her to her destination. She loves it. |

I loved my TomTom initially, but tried to upload current map set while on a major trip and it wiped out my maps on the unit and had travel through Boston and back to Michigan without my GPS Give yourself plenty of time to update before a trip to ensure your unit works when you need it. |

I had purchased a different GPS and had all bad results, and then bought the Tom Tom an it is terrific . Mo hassle and worked right out of the box. If any one wants a Good GPS to use this is the one to purchase. |
