You are Luso Clemmens, a playful, determined and gutsy kid. At the start of the game, Luso finds himself alone in the library and sees an ancient tome laying around. He wrote his name on it and his life is never the same. He is transported to a bizarre, magical land.

Your group of warriors picks up quests in the local pubs, and most of the time, these missions will let you go out into the wider world and battle against the men, women and monsters of Ivalice.
