I'm buy no means an expert on games, but I can say that I really have enjoyed this one. I really like the non-linear design that allows you to complete the missions when and in the order that you please. You can can also roam aimlessly about the wastelands as much as you want. I've been playing for a about three weeks now and I am probably not even halfway through with the missions. And that is fine with me! The game has crashed on me a couple of times, but due to the frequent auto-saves, I haven't ever lost more than a few minutes of progress. And the crashes could be due to my computer. In any case, this is one great game. |

Voted 2008's best game by all the critics, and understandably so. This is a crowning achievement in RPG for Bethesda Software and on sale this week at a very attractive package price of $42 with its only serious competitor, 2006's best game the brilliant FPS *Bioshock.* The two games are similar in their creepy 1950's noir atmosphere (similar to *Blade Runner* in visual appearance) and fleshed-out character development. You'll enjoy playing the PC version of *Fallout 3* for well over 100 hours of gameplay. Gamers should pay attention to Bethesda's recommended gaming specs because they call for a powerful GPU running a fast multicore CPU - other game development companies dumb down their specs in effort to reach broader audience, but Bethesda's specs for *Fallout 3* are very accurate. Nvidia 8500+ series and up, ATI 2500+ series and up - nothing less will render this game on pc. |

I bought this game about two weeks ago. I am very pleased with this program, starts out a little slow, but definatly gets alot more action packed, and you are free to roam the wastelands night or day. |
