Dolby Pro Logic II and Stereo Enhancer
The X4 transmitter incorporates Dolby Pro Logic II decoding, which provides
surround sound realism from Dolby PL II encoded audio. When used with stereo
sources, the Dolby Pro Logic Decoder also enhances the sound by spreading
the stereo signal to provide a “wider” effect. This results in a richer,
fuller sound than normal stereo — almost as if it originates from outside
of the headphones. |

Chat Boost™ Dynamic Talkback Expander
The dynamic talkback expander automatically adjusts Xbox LIVE chat levels
during loud moments, so chat from teammates isn't lost in the exciting parts
of your game. During normal game volume levels, the expander doesn't affect
the chat level. As the game audio increases, the chat volume is automatically
increased so you can continue to hear what everyone is saying. When the
game volume quiets down, the chat level gradually returns to the normal
volume setting. It's a simple solution to an annoying problem, and it all
happens automatically – so you don't have to adjust anything! |

Microphone Monitoring
If you're wearing headphones, it's hard to hear yourself speak, so you'll
tend to talk louder. To address this, the X4 incorporates microphone monitoring.
Just like a telephone, the X4 mixes a portion of the microphone signal into
the headphone signal, so you can hear some of your voice along with the
online chatting and game audio. This lets you easily sense what you're saying,
but not so much that it's distracting. Mic monitoring not only helps you
stop talking so loud, it also eliminates that annoying "clogged ears" feeling
when talking while headphones are covering your ears. |

Bass Boost
The X4 headphones incorporate a bass boost feature that produces deep, rich
bass tones by increasing the volume of low frequency sounds – just like
turning up the sub-woofer on your home theater system. This can improve
your gaming experience by enhancing the sound of explosions, gun shots and
other deep-bass sound effects to make them even more dramatic. Bass boost
can be turned off with the slide switch on the headphones. You might want
to do this, for example, when using the X4 for listening to music that requires
a flat frequency response for truer reproduction. |

Automatic Power Shut-off
The automatic shut-off feature means you'll never have to worry about forgetting

just put them down and they'll automatically shut off after a few minutes

They sound really good and are pretty durable. I had mine on top of the computer and accidentally knocked it off it fell on the floor and it still works like new. WE are talking about a 6 and a half foot drop and it was fine.
You can also take off the mic and use it as wireless headphones a feature I really like. It has a slight hiss when there is no noise but it is very minimal.
It is also good at being able to tell where a sound is coming from. Since I bought these some of my friends online have asked me why I can see them coming like I have eyes in the back of my head.
It's not that I can see them I can hear them. Also have to mention the best part of all. The Mic and mic wire are replaceable so if they break you can order a new part and you are good to go.
They are as good as they are advertised.

When I first saw these bad boys I thought someone would be crazy to spend this much on headphones. I avoided buying these for the longest time, going through multiple sets of headphones ranging from 30 to 70 dollars. Finally I broke down and bought a set and Im so glad I did! The sound is amazing, gaming experience is more intense and I can play late at night with volume way up and not worry about a thing. The independent mic volume control is awsome for multiplayer and wireless is the only way to go. First set of batteries lasted 4 months of heavy use. Highly recomended! One con: bass could be a little louder |

This set of headphones takes you into the game! If you have a X-Box 360 or any system or tv get this set of headphones you will be not sorry! You can hear all 5.1 systems. All i can say is you will be 100% glad you got these. |
