This is a very nice printer. it works with xp, vista, win7 and ubuntu very well. not the best with photos but fro every day use you can't go wrong. |

Picked this over the comparable HP (CM1312 MFR, I believe). So far, it works great, and has the advantage of being about 3/4th the size of the HP. It was very easy to get set up and networked. Seems to need a lot of electricity to run, though - it will make the lights flicker - you might want to have it on a different circuit from the rest of your home office. |

This is a great printer all features work flawlessly. Setup was easy even on Vista. The network fax feature is awesome. |

Here's a fast summary of my experience so far:
* The print quality is outstanding, the scanner works great
* The drivers installed flawlessly the first time (even on Vista-- believe it or not)
* The networking installed the first time-and worked after a 2-3 minute installation--all I had to do was supply an IP address-period, nothing else.
* unlike other printers I've had, the network connection on this Samsung has worked continously since the first install-I've not had to restarteven once.
So far this is easily the best printer/scanner/copier/fax I have owned--and the replacement toner is only about $45 each (I priced them BEFORE buying) making it almost a no brainer. The bottomline is this is a great printer for a great price. |
