So, I've ordered this product in November.
When received, I tried to hook-it up but I never was able to do it. I wanted to use the wired configuration and never was able to do it.
The unit took an IP address but I was never able to access it by the software provided.
The ugly part is that THERE IS NO TECHNICAL SUPPORT ON THIS ITEM. All that I had was some non-helping e-mail exchanges, with 2-3 days delay.
Returned the unit and I will never touch again theirs products. |

Unit hooked up and installed perfectly. Now on to the performance. You need to have a really good wireless signal. Video tends to be choppy when streaming from popular TV websites, but not to the point of it being unwatchable. When you stream Video directly from a file on the computer to the unit it performs almost perfectly with moments of frame dropping. The Audio seems to be the one thing this unit does good. Even when the video starts to slow down the Audio goes at normal speed. When turning of the unit from the computer there is some times a error that happens which makes it so the Audio stays connected to the TV and does not go back to the computer speakers. It talks about this in the user manual but the solution they give does not work. You much right click the audio icon in your tray, select properties and set the computer speakers as default if this happens. I find my self wishing there was a setting for having the TV as a second monitor. |

It looked nice and did transmit picture but without sound whats the point? I returnd mine and wil wait for something with more performance. They suggest a wired connection for best performance so whats the point? |

I ordered this device knowing it didn't say Windows 7 supported. I couldn't get it to work for over a week. I found I couldn't get the software to install without an error message. Finally got it to install using Vista service pack 2 compatibility mode. Still couldn't try it because it wouldn't show on my network, I ordered a little USB 2.0 to 802.11 N adaptor. I have 2 separate networks now but this thing is AWSOME! Netflix, Blue ray, UTube whatever my computer plays my TV does to. No hiccups, good picture and great sound what a deal and tiger ships fast, 2 days on every order to my home, I'd highly recommend this little little box. BTW its running Linux and is rock solid. |

Only one problem I had... the sound did not work at all... video quality was good, unit is easy to setup and use. Hard to find tech support, but after I finally found someone they agreed that the unit was defected. I returned it for a refund. I was disapointed about the sound not working. I gave it a low performance rating just because of the sound. |
