Crysis Warhead
Clearing Crysis on your last play-through only proves one thing – that you’re definitely locked and loaded for redheaded stepchild of a meaner brother. Award-winning independent studio Crytek and EA Partners are going back to the South China Sea this fall with Crysis Warhead®, a parallel story to Crysis®, one of the highest rated games last year on any platform.
Crysis Warhead features an adrenalin-pumping sotrythat will take gamers to all-new environments that, aside from featuring more of Crysis’ brilliantly rendered scenery, offers players even more places to search through and destroy. Warhead is also introducing Crysis Wars®, while will bring a whole new multiplayer experience for the fnas of the Crysis universe. Players will be wearing the experimental Nanosuit of the unpredictable Sergeant "Psycho" Sykes, one of the most unforgettable characters from Crysis. More brash and aggressive than his Delta Force squadmate Nomad (the protagonist for the fist Crysis game), players will find Psycho's misadventures on the other side of the island to be even more extreme and volatile than they could have ever imagined or experienced, especially as they fight against of huge armies of humans and aliens made even smarter by Crytek's improved AI system. It promises to be total mayhem—what else would you expect from a character named Psycho, anyway?
Luckily, Psycho dons the multipurpose, ground-breaking Nanosuit that’s equipped with an even bigger arsenal of player-modifiable weapons and an collection of new vehicles, giving players access to the toolkit they need to be on top of any situation. Only two questions remain: Who will you blast first, and which toys will you use to do so?
An exclusively PC-platform game, Crysis Warhead is made on a new and improved version of Crytek's award-winning CryENGINE® 2 technology, which provides the magnificent visuals and graphics Crytek is known for to gamers with a marked enhancements in execution.
Crysis Warhead is a standalone release that doesn’t require the original Crysis to play, so if you’re new to the combat, feel free to dive right in. Welcome to a whole new level of destruction.
Crysis Wars(R) is also part of the Crysis Warhead® package. It features numerous improvements over the original Crysis multiplayer including a whole new mode, TeamInstantAction, as well as 7 new maps. Crysis Wars Features:
- TeamInstantAction is a new team-based mode pitting Raptor Squad forces agains KPA forces, all clad with Nanosuits. It features a intelligent Spawn System which ensures you will always spawn the furthest away from any enemy and closest to your teammates. Its also a very easy mode to jump in and out of. TIA is really for fast and intense multiplayer fun.
- Many of the new maps have been specifically tailored to create vertical gameplay, meaning you can use every ounce of your Nanosuit's powers to dominate your opponents. Stake out a high ledge to jump out of the line of bullets or use your cloak to sneak past the enemy on the prowl. Every map in Crysis Wars has been carefully crafted to create a fun and unique multiplayer experience.
- 21 maps including 7 never-before-seen maps. All the original Crysis InstantAction maps have been improved and re-worked.
- New and improved HUD elements make for an informative and enjoyable experience. Get your kill count up on your opponent to rub in how many times you owned them.

Great fun playing it, A bit pricey for a 1Yr. Old game. No issues operating on my PC- OS, W-7.
One of the Best FPS games out there, But to short 3 - 4 Hrs. of hard hitting game play.
Worse problem is the Auto-Download of Punk-buster!
This should be listed as a Choice NOT a requirement to play the game. Would recommend it for anyone into FPS Games. |

I would agree its a memory hog but a good FPS. Beat single player in about 4hrs of play. I guess Multi Player is the hype of this game though. I do like the in game set up to change your weapons for the mission. Not the best definitely not the worst. |

I got this game a few weeks ago and i was glad to see the graphics were still awesome. the game had a good story line and it fit perfectly with the first crysis. the only thing i hated about it was that the game play seemed way to short. but online play makes up for it. |
