The features of this power strip met my needs perfectly. I am using it to power up my home arcade with one switch. Click the switch and -POOF- all my pinball machines turn on. Really like wireless remote and the double-sided tape to mount it on the wall. Yay! No Tools! Only downside is that sometimes you need to really mash the button to get it to register. |

Surge protector works like any other, except it has 6 outlets that you can shut off with the flick of a switch and two that always remain on. I have this hooked to my TV, XBOX, WII, SURROUND SOUND, DIRECT TV, and VHS PLAYER. Cool thing is when I want to shut everything off, I just hit the switch and all power is completely shut down. No wasteful energy being used on the components in standby mode. When you want everything back on, just flick the remote and everything is back on where you left it.
Just to note - My Direct TV reciever is the only thing plugged into the Always on outlet, if not, everytime you shut down and power back up, the receiver has to run through its test. |

Comes as advertised. Comes mounting hardware for both unit and remote (which I won't use). Has 2 unswitched outlets and 6 switched, all with surge protection. Good product, good value. |
