Read lots of reviews before making this purchase. Our Daughter and husband have a Toshiba so they talked us into one also. Does all things well. However as several other raters had noted: The audio could be improved. Gave my set to an older brother and it is not very loud even at peak volume. At peak volume there is some distortion...

If you're looking for a "white" cabinet TV for the kitchen area, this is it. Its big screen in a compact size is just right for our kitchen. There's no glare on the screen from our skylight either. Although it's not a 1080P TV, the HD channels still look great. The built-in DVD is a bonus we probably won't use much (since I'd rather not stay in the kitchen to watch a movie).
