The Onkyo TX-SR507 Home Theater Receiver is a budget-friendly A/V receiver that offers versatile connectivity and compatibility with the latest technology. With 4 HDMI 1.3a inputs, it can accept up to 4 HD sources—from Blu-ray Disc to HD broadcasting to high-def games—and output them to your compatible HDTV. HDMI 1.3a also enables you to enjoy the pristine “lossless” audio of Dolby® TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio™, as well as secondary audio on Blu-ray Disc via DTS-HD Express. The TX-SR507 comes with a suite of Audyssey surround-sound technologies to help tailor audio output to the unique dimensions of your entertainment space. Meanwhile, a new universal port makes it easy to incorporate an optional Onkyo Dock for the iPod® or Onkyo HD Radio tuner into your system. With all this, plus 4 high-impact Game Modes and the ability to send different audio to two rooms simultaneously, the Onkyo TX-SR507 puts a huge amount of entertainment potential in your hands.

I got this receiver with the HD 500 speakers and love it. It's dual zone which is sweet for something in this price range. The receiver has tons of options and features to get the sound just how you like it. Would buy this again any day! |

This is exactly what i was looking for, at the price i was looking for as well. This is not pass through, which means that the HDMI will carry audio and picture. At this price point....could not ask for anything more at this point. Great job !! |

This is a great receiver, especially for the price. Setup well, and the the full hdmi pass-through (this one actually gets audio from the hdmi unlike it's model predecessors)is a nice feature for tvs with only one hdmi input. The only complaint I might have is that you cannot run the same source through the a and b channels at the same time. I wired it for my clients with both a digital and analog input from the dvd player so they could listen to cds with both channels. Seems like a strange limitation for a 2 channel amp. |

This A/V receiver is great for people looking for a high quality. It has all the decoders that most blurays offer (Dobly TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Digital Plus, etc.) but also older legacy decoders (DTS, Dolby Digital, etc.) Comes complete with many setup options and sound processors, as well as connectors. It has four full HDMI 1.3 inputs that decode bitstream data through HDMI. My only complaint is that the instruction manual is hard to follow sometimes. Not difficult, but its loosely organized. |
