I purchased this card to replace my FX5200. It was a reasonable upgrade and worth the price. It was the best Nvidia card for PCI at the time. Now there is the 8400GS and 9400GT available for PCI. Don't waste your money on this card. I installed it on Vista Ultimate, and I could never get it stable. I reverted to XP SP3 and it was better, but still unstable. I tried the drivers supplied with the card, I tried the drivers from Microsoft, and I tried the latest drivers from Nvidia, NOTHING WORKED! Still not stable. |
