I picked one of these up for my new build with my Asus board and wow. I wanted to get a black so I could over clock with ease but have not found a need to yet. With all the features the chip has coupled to an Asus board I could see this lasting for some time even if its not a quad. |

This chip is a very good value and has great capabilities. I have four of them in use. The on down side is that over a period of months, two or those four cpus were DOA and had to be replaced on a RMA. I will continue to utilize this chip and purchase more of them for they are a very good value, but I question QC standards on this item. |

AMD has always been my choice for the heart of a computer. There products are fast reliable and if you should encounter an issue they are there and stand behind there products. And the phenoms are an awesome processor SMOKING fast, stable and handle the toughest of tasks without being phased. |
