had a little trouble with. the windows fitting its space. there is an adjustment for this. other than that i love it. perfect for music and on the go chatting. i use it for an extra on the go thingy. some works programs already installed. compadible with my sd cards . now i want to buy an external rom. internet needs to keep up with this hot little computer . sorry but att needs to get with it. |

I bought it for occasional travel and as an emergency backup. It's a lot faster than the Cloudbook I have. Seems to do the job. |

Before you buy a netbook, you need to ask yourself "what you plan to use it for". If its just for basic email & web browsing, taking on a trip, go ahead, thats exactly what they are supposed to do (with the occasional word processing).
What they aren't designed to do is replace a notebook or a desktop pc. So if your plans are anything other than basic portability & web browsing, this will fit the bill nicely.I would suggest you save your $$ for a cheaper notebook if your aspirations are higher.
The Acer fits perfectly between the iPhone & a notebook/desktop. The keyboard is a little smaller than your used to and my only real complaint is that the track is the track pad is too small.
Opt for the 6 cell battery. You'll be glad you spent the extra money. If you go beyond 11in screen, get a notebook. The second thing you need to do is add more ram.
Great book, but don't pay more than $299 with the 6 cell battery. |
