I have owened Okidata for several years starting with a C5150n, a C5550MFP and now the C5500. Okidata's can be cantankerous some times but you can't beat the value. If you buy one that is remanufactured make sure you get an extended warranty. I didn't on my C5550MFP and it went down at 100 days costing me lots of money. Can't beat the C5500 at the sell price of $199.00. |

Our class produces notecards from the kids artwork and sells them as a fundraiser. The HP Color laser printer we had could not handle the 110lb cardstock and also printed a fine grey film on all the white areas of the paper. We bought this printer and could not be happier! The color is perfect and the print is crisp and clean. It handles the cardstock with no problems (the side feeder has to be used - not the paper tray). |

We had a 5150 before and it was great. Bought this to replace it and we are getting ready to send the 2nd one back because they are total garbage. The first one had constant sensor errors and this one jams every single page every single time for no reason. Complete garbage. |

I was taken aback when I first received this printer because it is HUGE. But, upon easy installation, and installment of toner cartridges, I have put this sucker through the paces and I haven't even had to buy any toner yet. It's a good deal, just make room.... |
