Bought this to replace a 10 year old scanner. Scan times are so much faster! Image quality is very good, software supplied is useful and functional, and though I haven't used it yet, I like the ability to scan slides and negatives. |

The slides are scanned very dark and there is insufficient adjustment to improve them. For slides this product is not worth it. |

Only thing I dont like is the slide scanner hole on the back prints in black unless you are printing a full sheet.I covered with paper taped to it and it works.Why do they assume every scan will be full sheet ? Other than that works good. |

I was trying to scan a stack of 12 photo albums using my all-in-1 printer, but the scanning capabilities were poor and very, very slow. I bought this scanner and was able to complete the task in just a couple of hours. The pictures in the albums were too old and fragile to remove without damage, but the scanner allows you to remove the lid completely making scanning full album pages a breeze. Also, the process was extremely quick. After setting up the photo hotkey to save as a file on my PC, I just pressed the button on the scanner, turned the page, pressed again... |
