Benefits offered to full-time and part-time associates who meet the eligibility requirements:

Dental Plan: We want our Associates to keep smiling, and that's why we've chosen a Dental Care Plan that provides benefits for preventive, basic and major services and coverage for some orthodontic services (for dependents under age 19).

Vision Plan: You only have one pair of eyes and our Vision Plan can help you keep them healthy!

Life Insurance: We help provide for the family's financial needs in the event of an Associate's death. The Company pays 100% of cost for Basic Life coverage. Associates pay 100% of cost for Supplemental Life coverage which includes options for additional Associate Life, Spousal Life, Child Life, and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage.

Educational Assistance Program: Interested in going back to school? We want you to take those courses you've been dreaming of. That's why we provide tuition assistance to associates pursuing higher education.

Associate Discount Program: That's right, we want you to have the latest and greatest in electronics at a reduced cost. Our Associates may purchase merchandise at a reduced cost for their own personal use, or for the personal use of the immediate family members living in their same household.

401(k) Plan: Nobody can predict the future, but you can prepare for it. Our 401(k) helps Associates save for the future through before-tax payroll deductions. The company contributes $1.00 for each $1.00 the Associate contributes, up to 3% of their annual salary. The company will also contribute $0.50 for each $1.00 the Associates contributes for the next 2% of their annual salary. Our Associates may contribute up to 40% of pay and company contributions are vested immediately, there's no vesting period!

Health Care Spending Account (HCSA): HCSA allows our Associates to pay for health care expenses with pre-tax dollars.

Dependent Care Spending Account (DCSA): DCSA allows our Associates to pay for dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars.

Employee Assistance Program: LifeBalance provides our Associates with information and resources on a wide range of issues and topics. LifeBalance can help with personal and work-related problems, older adult and parenting resources, legal and financial issues and many other day-to-day things that make it difficult to balance work and family life.

Truliant Credit Union: We want to help make banking a little easier. This full-service financial institution offers a wide range of services, including no-fee Checking and Savings accounts, VISA Credit Card with no annual fee, and American Express Traveler's Cheques at no fee.

Business Travel Accident Insurance: We want you to have peace of mind. At Circuit City, we offer death and dismemberment benefits for Associates who travel on business for the company.

Benefits offered to full-time associates who meet the eligibility requirements:

Health Care Program: Our Health Care Program covers most medically necessary and appropriate expenses and some routine and preventive care.

Short Term Disability: Circuit City provides benefits for most medically certified absences of more than five consecutive scheduled work days. Benefits are based on earnings and length of service. The Company pays 100% of the cost.

Long Term Disability: LTD benefits may be available after 180 days of continuous, approved disability. Our Associates pay 100% of the plan's cost.

Stock Purchase Plan: Become a Circuit City stockholder. We offer an Associate Stock Purchase Plan that enables Associates to purchase Company stock through payroll deductions. The Company contributes $0.15 for every $1.00 the Associate contributes. Associates may contribute 2-10% of their pay.

Adoption Assistance Program: Circuit City provides assistance with some qualifying adoption expenses.

Matching Gifts Program: We want to help you support your community! That's why our Circuit City Foundation matches, on a limited dollar-for-dollar basis, gifts to qualifying educational and cultural organizations.
