Circuit City Stores, Inc., is currently hiring for Technical Analysts in our IT department at our corporate offices in Richmond, VA . Opportunities exist within both our Applications and Infrastructure teams.
As a Technical Analyst, you will be focused on analyzing business needs and then integrating those with system functionality. All of our IT associates are faced with a high level of responsibility on a daily basis. They spend a majority of time working with a wide range of current hardware/software in one of the largest Information Technology shops in Virginia. You will have the opportunity to work independently, given only the basic framework of a problem, and then encouraged to use your talents and abilities to problem-solve and offer creative solutions. We continue to educate associates about changing technology, and teach you to react quickly to changes in the market. We encourage our IT associates to learn all areas of the business, allowing you to gain exposure to different departments and associates.
To be successful in this role, you should possess strengths in analysis & decision making, planning & organizing, interpersonal skills, communication, and action orientation. An undergraduate degree with any focus in Information Technology is preferred.
