iPod classic

iPod classic

If capacity is your main concern, the iPod classic is the iPod for you. With 80GB and 160GB versions, the new iPod classic has the most storage of any iPod yet. The 160GB version holds a whopping 40,000 songs—at
four minutes per song, you could listen for four months straight without hearing a repeat. In addition to music,
it can hold up to 200 hours of video or 25,000
photos—you can even download games.

Movies, TV shows, games and photos look great on the iPod classic's crisp, bright 2.5-inch screen. The iPod classic also has an enhanced user interface featuring Cover Flow, which lets you browse through album cover art to find your favorite music. You can navigate through your entire music collection with just one finger using the click wheel control pad.

Moving music and videos from your computer to your iPod classic is a breeze. The iPod classic includes the latest version of iTunes for Windows and Mac, which lets you create playlists to suit
your mood or the occasion. When you add new songs and videos or change your playlists, your iPod classic will be updated automatically the next time you connect it to your computer via the auto-sync feature.

iPod touch

iPod touch

The newest addition to the iPod family lets you enjoy music and videos with the tap of a finger. The iPod touch features the same multi-touch interface and 3.5-inch widescreen display found on the iPhone. Available in 8GB and 16GB versions, it packs enough power for up to 22 hours of audio playback and 5 hours of video playback when the battery is fully charged. That's a good thing, because you'll need that time to take advantage of everything the iPod touch has to offer.

The iPod touch is the first iPod with built-in Wi-Fi. This means you can access the Internet and purchase music wirelessly from the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store whenever and wherever the mood strikes you. You can check your email using the Safari web browser, or watch YouTube videos by tapping the YouTube launcher located right on the home screen. In addition to video and music, the iPod touch can hold thousands of your favorite photos, allowing you to browse, zoom in or out, and rotate your pictures.

With an easy-to-navigate interface featuring Cover Flow, the iPod touch lets you browse through the album cover art for all the music in your collection. It also features an ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts the screen's brightness to match the lighting conditions wherever you might find yourself.

iPod nano

Take what you know about the iPod and shrink it. Now shrink it again and you've got the iPod nano. At only 1.7 ounces, the iPod nano combines small size with big functionality. Choose from two versions—the 8GB version holds up to 2,000 songs and is available in five great colors, and the 4GB version holds up to 1,000 songs and is available in silver. Whichever one you choose, you'll be able to listen to 24 hours of music or watch five hours of video before recharging your battery.

Though they may be small, the newest iPod nanos feature a big change—they play video. To support this capability, the iPod nano now sports a 2-inch, 320x240-resolution display that's 65% brighter than before. This display is also great for playing one of the three preloaded games. *Formatted capacity varies
You may have noticed a disclaimer on MP3 players and other devices stating that "formatted capacity will vary" or “actual capacity varies by content.” Formatted capacity may vary for a number of reasons. In some cases the MP3 players or other devices use a portion of the storage capacity for formatting purposes or for pre-loaded operating system needs. In some cases, the storage capacity in terms of "MB" or "GB" of MP3 players and other devices is measured differently from device to device, for example from computer operating system memory, or "RAM." The actual storage on any device is affected by a number of variables, including the length of any of the files or data stored on the device, and the type of file compression, if any, used in storing the device.
