You’ll have the bandwidth and connection stability to surf the Internet, download MP3s, make Internet phone calls, share large files, play high-resolution network games and stream high-definition videos—simultaneously—at any distance or location in your home or small office.

Superior coverage: New technology that complies with the current draft of 802.11n and preset internal antennas reflects the latest advances in wireless. You’ll enjoy maximum coverage, maximum performance and high-quality streaming every time.

Backwards-compatible: RangeMax NEXT works seamlessly with existing 802.11g/b devices.

Wireless security: Touchless WiFi Security makes it easy to achieve the highest level of network security and includes WEP, WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK data encryption. The double-firewall features Network Address Translation to hide your PCs and files from outside users as well as a Stateful Packet Inspection firewall to deny outside requests for personal information.

Easy installation: Smart Wizard™ simplifies setup by automatically detecting and configuring your router for virtually all ISP connections.

Note: Wireless networking requires an access point. A modem and Internet account on one of your PCs following the terms and conditions in your ISP agreement is required for Internet sharing.

Recently moved to a new home approx 2800 Sq. ft. I was getting dropped connections and dead spots. I wanted a high end router.

I was skeptical on RangeMax NEXT (Wireless-N)seeing all the reviews on the board.

I went ahead and bought the router, UPGRADEDTO THE NEW FIRMWARE (took 2 minutes) and it worked like a dream. I was getting 90-100 Mbps connections between my computer in my study and my daughter's laptop streaming our vacation videos wirelessly.

The zones in my kitchen where I never used to get signal is all hotspots now. Overall a very favorable experience.

I also hear that Wi-Fi alliance is certifying these n products as is and every laptop provider is now planning on n enabled laptops.

The debate is always on - do you get it now or do you wait... and I can say to all the guys out there who want to stream data, video, game, voice at high speed - go ahead and get the experience now!

Just remember to download the latest firmware from the netgear.com website and install it on the router.

Excellent range, always stays connected, really fast connection, and it's easy to install.
All I use it for is email, games, and work, and I have it set only at half and still provides a great connection for Wii and Xbox Live. I'm only using two of the ethernet jacks and usually have 2 or 3 devices using wireless and works excellent. (not at half speed, gotta turn it up a little)
It will heat up after a while but not that much or to where it will just drop everything like those linksys routers. But, when I first used it it was all wierding out on me sometimes, but after I got the latest firmware from the netgear site (thanks to the most helpful review dude) it worked perfectly and has been for a while.

A little faster than G, but connects to network faster and stays connected.
Can use anywhere in the house 3000sqft. Have not tried to use on outside patio.
I have a lot of wireless products and this could be a factor in the performance of network.
