How it works: The adapter fits in your laptop's PC card slot, and communicates wirelessly with your 802.11g (backward-compatible with 802.11b) network. Plug-and-play installation gets you networking immediately.

MIMO technology: The MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) technology increases speed, coverage and reliability of wireless systems. This is great for downloading music, sharing photos and online gaming.

Wireless range: This adapter offers up to 1000 ft. in wireless coverage with improved reliability and fewer drops.

Note: Wirelessly networking your laptop requires an access point. A modem and Internet account on one PC is required for Internet sharing.

Wow this card is great....works perfect just how a mimo should. I first bought a wireless G card because I heard they have a wider range, but once the mimo went on sale for $49.99 I went circuitcity 4 blocks from my house to buy it and i'm glad I did...it does what it says...gives me a more networks then a regular card...and barly drops the network once connected.

this product was supposed to be faster and have greater range, but i found it to be severely lacking in both. and once connected, it couldn't keep a signal. even my 5 yr old 802.11b adapter works better. in addition, the program kept crashing. look for something better.

Bridgton, Me - If you live in old house your plaster is probably Horse Hair plaster. This will effect your reception. Deal with it. You can't do much about it.
