When you purchase this service online, just take your computer, peripheral, software—and your confirmation e-mail—to the firedog desk of your local Circuit City store. We’ll take it from there.

Here’s what we’ll do:

Evaluation: We’ll check your new computer’s package to make sure all components are there.

Setup: We’ll turn your computer’s power on, and connect it to a monitor to make sure it’s functioning properly.

Configuration: We’ll set up your operating system and Internet service. Then we’ll make sure everything is working properly.

Windows updates: We’ll check for any updates to Windows that may have come out since your computer was built, and install them accordingly.

Software installation: We’ll install and configure up to 2 new software titles of your choice onto your computer.

Peripheral installation: We’ll install an external piece of hardware like a printer or scanner so it’s ready to use the moment you get home.

Unwanted icon removal: We’ll get rid of any unwanted icons, programs and links that come on your computer so it’ll be set up and ready for you to use.

Validation: We’ll do a final check to make sure everything is working the way it’s supposed to. Then we’ll answer any questions you may have, and make sure you're satisfied with our service.
