Spectacular
Easy Install Works Great!
I installed this baby in less then one hour at home on my wireless network, running on Windows XP.
I have used this product for over a week now and think it's great. I am now able to print wirelessly at home with 3pc/laptops.

Bad experience never worked

I always liked Linksys hardware, perhaps because it usually worked and I never had to call support.
Well this was quite the different experience. I was replacing an older wps54g that died. The only thing available at the stores was the wpsm54g. I couldnot get it to do anything in windows, server setup always looked good and could even print to the printer from the web utility but not windows. Then I discovered it no longer supports standard tcpip port and need to install the server software. This is where it went downhill, it would just hang no errors. Next mistake 800 support call first ? model # and ser # of server ok, then model # and serial # of access point, then they asked for model # and sn# of router , thatâ€s when I gave up since it wasnot close to where I was and figured it was a bad start. I told them I could print from the web setup util but it wasnâ€t in there script so therefore didnâ€t listen.
Next I tried live chat! Immediately gave him all information I had including printer model. After checking things like air in my tires and so forth a good hour of try this and that goes by and I ask out right about printer compatibility. They send me a link so I can look for myself instead of just answering the ? and there we go itâ€s not on the list. At that point I just left the site.
I think that the products have not been the same since Cisco systems acquired them.

Linksys works for me in the office

Using the linksys on the job and so far it's a breeze. We had three PC using the wireless function with one PC wired to one printer. Plus all four PCs used the wireless function of another larger multi-function copier. So, I am quite impressed. But just curious as to how it would work in my home when the laptop is farther away from the wireless router. But here in the office we are not very spread out, so it works flawlessly and quickly.
