they work now after a program upgrade

I was getting coaster after coaster with these Sony discs on one program so i switched to another program i had and they still turned out coasters.But i upgraded that program with the latest change and no more coasters. Problem solved.So whats going on with Sony these days.No trouble burning with h.p. and sony 8x before the upgrade.Possibly these Sonys needed a firmware upgrade to work.
