XM XpressR Satellite Receiver

Features

Split screen: A 6-line, split screen display allows you to view up to 6 channels simultaneously. You can view current channel, artist, song title and info extras.

Pause/replay function: Pause, rewind, and replay up to 30 minutes of stored music directly from the satellite feed.

"Select" features: TuneSelect finds your favorite songs or artists. GameSelect finds your favorite sports events.

Sports/stock ticker: Scroll sports scores and updates from MLB™, NFL, NBA, NHL, racing, golf, tennis, college football and basketball. You can also scroll up to 20 stock symbols while listening.

Universal connector: You can easily move XpressR between car, home & audio systems with compatible accessories.

30 presets: There are buttons to save up to 30 of your favorite XM channels.

Note: requires an XM subscription (sold separately).

This is my third upgrade to my XM lineup. I've been through the Myfi, Inno(destroyed), and now the XpressR.

The split screen is one of the best innovations in the Satellite radio market. While listening to one channel you can scroll around and see whatson the other channels while still seeing what is playing on your current channel.

One thing this unit is vague about on the packing is that is does NOT have a built in FM modulator. You have the option to turn in on in the menu, but you MUST buy the optional SureConnect or the FM Direct adapter to make it work. I use a direct AUX-IN connection so it was no use to me anyway.

Other then that. Fantastic PNP. The pictures don't show the thickness but the dimensions are.

Much improvement over the roady model

I have been an xm subscriber for years and used a roady. The features and ease of use far surpass this early model. In particular, the tune control, remote control and the display options make it easier to find music choices.

I surfed through every product rating on this site before making my purchase. The reviews on this unit have been spot on. It is easy to use, very functional, easy to set up in the home, and best of all, it sounds great! I haven't had any problems so far. I am thoroughly satisfied with XM and this receiver!
