I got this for Free After Rebate. The case is meant for a 17 inch laptop. I have a 15 inch, and it works fine. There is a divider that helps protect smaller than 17 inch laptops, and it works well. I do not think though that the bag is worth $40.

The clips that hold the strap broke the first time I used it while at the airport. I almost dropped my new 17' laptop!

bought this and the clips broke after a week of using it! I was carrying the laptop at that time and thank god no damage was done to it. i would suggest investing 10-20$ more and getting a reliable one. Otherwise, if you're not fortunate like me, you willend up paying $200+ for laptop repair or even worse, a new laptop.
