If you want a fresh mp3 player, go for this one.
This product is competing against iPod touch however. Here are the reasons I bought this one.
1) Everybody has an iPod
2) This one does not have metal brushed back.
which is a scratch magnet.
Samsung P2 has hard plastic like 1st generation zune
3) Bluetooth Technology
4) 3' Gorgeous Display ( 16:9 Video Display)
5) E-Book
6)others..




Cons

1) No iTunes... Samsung's program makes it easy to upload songs but no market place.
2) no itunes equalsno video purchase.
3) No Wi-Fi.

So if you are looking for something rare, or try something new, go for it.
Quality of this item is very nice but you know, nothing can be perfect.

Pretty awesome, love it.

This is just amazing but there is one downfall

This product is by far an amazing MP3, there is one downfall about this YP-P2

and that is the Scratch's to the screen

it does get scratched fairly easily VS. the i-pod touch.

allthough the YP-P2 does come with a PLASTIC clear cover you have to manualyput over it, it is hard to, atlast it was for me.

other then that the picture is CLEAR! and the music sound is AWSOME!

for songs and movies

i watch a movie and the sound is so supurbe i totally forget about everything and get into the movie, even thrilling movies and scary movies, allthough its 3inch, the sound is bound to get you into the movie, so is the uality isnt good enough for you, the the sound will be =)

Excellent Sound, Ease of Use, Gorgeous Screen Make It a Winner!

I LOVE this player! I have both the Ipod Touch and The Samsung YP-P2 . While the the Ipod Touch has a better touch interface than the samsung, the P2 fares very well and the sound is Superior to the Ipod.
The graphic equalizer settings on the P2 allow the user to customize the sound to hear music the way they want to. If sound is important to you, as it is to me that was a big selling feature. The Ipod Touch has preset equalizer choices which enhance the sound, but lack the ability to customize.
The P2in my opinion is more for the person who wants to have a MP3 player for the love of music as opposed to the Ipod Touch with it's WiFi and all the apps. you can do with it.
The P2 has a Gorgeous screen and is great for viewing photos or videos. It is alsovery easy to use very little learning curve unlike the Ipod Touch. The P2 is also more durable than the Ipod Touch with it's chrome back.
I had my Touch for 2 days didn't set it on any hard surfaces and it still got scratches on the back! If you buy a Ipod Touch buy a case for it with your purchase, if not you will regret it..
The bottom line is if Excellent sound in music is important to you than choose the P2. If WiFi and apps. is number one with good music sound choose the Ipod Touch.
