Awesome little unit. I take on on the boat and in the car. It works great. You will need to download Windows Media 11 if you dont have it already. Once you have this it is so easy my 9 year old downloaded his own music.

Just plugged it in to my laptop, the right program popped up and I just drag and dropped my songs on it. Easy!

My wife gave it to me for christmas on the 28th (three days later) it died when I plugged it in to my computer to charge it, the screen went blank like it was off and it would not turn on again. When I returned it to the store an employee informed me thatthey had lots of them returned already. I ended up replacing it with a (different brand), I'm much happier with that one. About the product: The screen is small and hard to see, navigation is a little difficult. The radio recording I made while it workedwas faint and scratchy compared to the live broadcast. The equalizer made very little difference in the sound quality, perhaps due to the very poor quality headphones included with the product. I never tried the built-in mic or the software. I have no idea how good the battery life is, I never got a chance to run it out before it died. It was, however, very easy to download music to, just drag & drop. Bottom line: Don't waste your time or money on this cheap junk. You will be so much happier with a higher quality product.
