I purchased this for my Compaq Presario SR2163WM which came with only 512mb of ram. Vastly increased the speed. The price was great and I am going to purchase a second gb to replace the 512mb stick that came with my computer. The hardest part of the install was getting my ribbon cable out of the way.

After researching exactly what type of memory I needed, Circuit City had the best price with the selection that best suited my computer needs! With the exception of the lack a space to install the memory, have to blame HP as they built this system, all went well. Thanks Circuit City!
