I am a big fan of buying items online from Circuit City, but with this item I was extremely dissapointed. I have purhcased it few weeks ago. Great delivery time, but in spite of the excellent services Circuit City offers, this particular product was sentto me as an opened item with few scratches on it, even though I have paid full price. Very slow transfer rate. It is not easily recognized by OS. On several ocassions my system frozen up and I had to reboot. Poor quality plastic housing. Choose another brand. Mine is already in the bin. I did not even bother to give it away as a gift. I would not even get this brand for free.

If you do not have to accommodate a Win98SE compter get a Kingston

Because I needed to accommodate a Win98SE computer I had to buy a flash memory stick compatible to both an XP and 98SE. A 98SE user need to download 1 of 3 available drivers. The choice is supposed to be easy since the package has a place for the manufacturer to mark which driver to download. No markings! Now go guess which one by trial and error. I got it right on the second download. It is ok with a Win XP computer but is unable to identify it so it is treated as a 'Generic' removable drive. I gave this product a low ranking due to critical missing installation data. Because I have no idea if I am using the right driver maybe the performance is compromised. Buy a Kingston.
