Four-line capability: Lets you answer all your important calls. The lighted display helps keep track of which line is in use.

Call-waiting caller ID: Find out who’s calling before you pick up the phone, even if you’re on the other line. Requires phone company service.

Caller ID memory: Keep track of the name and number of the last 200 callers.

Three-way conferencing: Three parties can be linked together for important conversations.

Selectable ring tones: Choose the appropriate ring tone for your office.

Speed dial: Maintain a directory with up to 32 numbers for easy dialing.

Expandable: Create an entire office system of up to 16 phones. The AT&T 974 is compatible with AT&T 945 and 984 business corded phones. You can page, intercom and call transfer between stations.

Power failure operation: Don't let the lights going out stop your business—the power failure option keeps your phone in operation. Requires 9V battery.

great phone for small business

This has been a great phone for my office I have 4 of them and the intercom works great. Without the hefty price tag of a pbx system. My previous phone intercom could not reach the other phones 80 feet away. The only issue I have had is one handset had problem with wire which I am hoping to get replaced if it is still under warranty . I am very pleased with this phone

Much better than the RCA phones. I actually switched from the RCA to the AT&T phones because none of the added station features worked. The phones synched up like a charm and are working great! We love the intercoms and no longer have to shout through the office for each other.

Went through 3 other phones first. This is the only one with all the features I was looking for. Other phones with all these features were over $300.
2 minor problems: Speaker cuts out when microphone picks up noise, and when you put someone on hold and pick up the line on another phone the AT&T still thinks it's on hold after hanging up.
