Great monitor for the Price

[Pros] Extremely bright picture with no ghosting. — Works well switching between my Xbox 360 and PC. — Does a good job scaling 1080p to 1920x1200. — Has HDMI, DVI, and VGA inputs so you can switch between 3 different sources. I don't know why CC only list HDMI and D-sub. [Cons] — To use the HDMI port you have to remove a plastic cover that hides the mounting hardware for the stand. Not too much of a problem, bit a silly design choice. — No option to display a non scaled image. Unless you are oputing 1920x1200 it will stretch the image. [Other] — Bezel is glossy black. — Power button is Blue when there is a signal, amber when in standby, and off when the monitor is off. — Power button is not too bright like some LEDs.

I purchased this monitor abot 6 months ago, and absolutely love it!!. The resolution is great, very noticiable to other monitors in the house. Very Crisp. I am very happy with this purchase. The price is very reasonable for this size monitor.

After reading thru many reviews, good and bad, I opted to save a little money and take a chance with the Acer... so far a great decision. It's a very bright monitor, no ghosting, excellent color reproduction, and not one dead pixel. Didn't care too much for the stand, but I like to use an adjustable 'arm' type stand and get the monitor up high and in my face - which makes it important to have a decent side viewing angle, which this unit does. Needless to say - having come from a 20' 5:4 monitor, this screen is enormous! Overall, I'd have to say I'm very pleased with the Acer, and would definitely recommend it.
