USB 2.0 interface: This 500GB hard drive offers USB 2.0 (backward compatible with USB 1.1) providing blazing transfer speeds of up to 480 Mbps. Move hundreds of megabytes of data in mere seconds.
16-bit RISC processor: Breaking through today's 8-bit barrier, AcomData's exclusive 16-bit RISC processor boosts performance by up to 22%.
PushButton backup: Back up your important files simply by pushing a button.
Nomad mobile desktop: Run applications right from your HybridDrive on any Windows PC. Activate Nomad (no fees, no license codes, no strings) and run the included applications right from the Drive—no PC installation required. Included with Nomad is: OpenOffice.org, a comprehensive office suite; Redemption, full-featured data backup; Thunderbird, the award-winning e-mail client; Skype, which allows you to talk to people around the world for free; plus utilities to quickly access your stored files, track disk usage and manage settings.
Data synchronization: Synchronize files on multiple computers.
Multiple configurations: This Drive is just as comfortable standing up as it is lying down. Rubber feet and zinc alloy stand are included. Or add even more storage without taking up more desktop space by stacking multiple drives on top of each other.
