I upgraded to the iPod Touch from my iPod 30GB Video and I have got to say that the Touch is so much easier to use! The 16GB is more than enough storage space. Face the facts: Are you going to have all of your songs on your iPod to listen to continuously?I have a total of 8GB of music and that's more than enough music for me to listen to at any given time. The battery life absolutely blows the old iPods away... it's improved greatly. I am very happy with the how the photos turned out... when I flip the screen to be widescreen, my photos are not cropped anymore and fill the whole screen. It's so much fun to show people pictures on this iPod... it's completely a revolutionary iPod and I am thrilled to own it!

Let's talk about what to consider if you wantto buy this. First, the WiFi feature is awesome. Safari becomes so easy to use when you spend some time learning the tricks. You can blow up any portion of the webpage and see exactly what you need. It's better than having to lug around a laptop with youeverywhere to get online. It works seamlessly with encrypted wireless networks. The built-in YouTube player is so simple to use!

The touch qwerty keypad is simple to use at first. You have to get used to the keypad input to minimize mistakes. But overallI have not become frustrated with the keypad recognition, as it's become so easy to use in less than a day!

If you are considering this model, the 16GB, just know that if you have a lot of music or videos or photos (or a combination of them all), and you might want to get the 8GB, the $100 is well worth the investment.

Overall, very pleased! It's been one day now since I got my iPod Touch and I'm so happy with it! It's a deal maker when you see everything you get!

This is my first purchase of an Apple product, and I must say I'm extremely impressed. This is more than an iPod, it's a handheld computer disguised as a music player. My only complaints are how easy the polished metal back scratches, and that the onlyway to load music and video onto it is through iTunes. I purchased a neoprene 'skin' for it to eliminate the scratching and keep it from sliding around in the car.

Photos and video are very bright and clear, and the mutitouch screen is awesome. I had aHP iPaq that I used to use for mobile internet, PIM, etc., and just sold it on eBay because the iPod does what it did, only faster and better. Safari kicks Pocket Internet Explorer's butt!
