They call this model a Canoe for good reason. Take a closer look at the picture, the front face trim will make the left and right sides of at least four shelves unusable.

granted all i wanted was something to store my numerous cd's on, it looks nice, but it's not high quality!
i put it together fairly quickly following the picture instructions since we don't use written instructions anymore )
like i said, it looks great inmy living room, really cleaned up the pile of cd's i had, and i'm REALLY glad i didn't pay a ton of cash for it.
great gift idea for a college student or a teenager.
