Equipped with striped ebony housing for superb acoustic characteristics, these ATH-W5000 dynamic headphones achieve new levels of audiophile sound quality and listening comfort. These stellar headphones also deliver formidable power, ultra-comfortable fit and stunning design.

Advanced drivers: The 53mm drivers (equipped with neodymium magnet systems) are designed exclusively for the W5000. The driver unit incorporates a Permendur magnetic circuit with exceptional magnetic characteristics.

Strong and clear: Double Air Damping System deepens bass reproduction. High-quality 8N-OFC (oxygen free copper) voice coils deliver ultra-efficient signal transfer.

Excellent fit: Ear pads feature rich leather cushions as well as feature Audio-Technica’s ultra-comfortable total ear-fitting design. 3D Wing Support enhances comfort and stability.

Gold-plated mini-plug: This ¼” plug provides exceptional corrosion resistance, superb conductivity and low noise.

Tangle-free cable: The Y-cable features an elastomer sheath that helps prevent tangles.

Deluxe case: The padded, protective hard-shell case provides safe, convenient storage for your headphones.

The wood not only looks nice, but it provides exelent sound. The drivers are awsome. I have not once had any destortion. They give superb Lows. Clear Mids, and rounded whole highs. Its everything you ever wanted from a monitor, and more. The Oxygen free copper wires are extremely well designed, they dont tangle hardly at all. They fit perfectly around my ears, and are way comfortable. Might be the best thing in my gig box.
