the built in FM modular wasnt sufficient to overcome the close FM chanels in a major city....too much static, installed the direct adapter and problem solved. However it did take two additional antenna adapters which was another $30 cost

I own a Pioneer Inno. Bought the Inno car kit and installed the product myself. I was not receiving good reception not only in the city, but when I would travel. Not very happy. Bought the Audiovox FM Direct Adapter and I am so VERY HAPPY! Excellent reception throughout the city of Corpus Christi, TX. I would so recommend this product. IT DOES WORK!!
