I put it on my IPhone brand new and the case has caused small scratches on the chrome border around the screen.

When putting on and removing the case, it starts to leave scatches on the chrome that get more visible as you continue to put on and remove the case. Personally I removed the case, it provides good protection but yet it scatches, so its up to you.
