it definitely does protect the ipod and u dont need to remove it for anything. but it gets scratched in only a couple hours.

Best Case For iPod

I bought this case right after i got my iPod because I didnt want the back of my iPod to get fingerprints and scratches on it (because with the new iPods that happens a lot) but it has been very helpful to me and you have to have this case if you want tokeep your iPod in good condition. The screen does scratch easily, but hey, at least your iPod inst getting scratched. The open spaces for conections lets some dirt in, but the case is easy to open so you can get it out. Also sometimes if you have a bigheadphone jack you might need to remove the case because the space isnt big enough, but most fit perfectly. 10/10

I highly suggest buying this case if you own an iPod 3G, it's worth the $25.

This was the first thing I bought after I got my ipod. Its pretty good, it really protects your ipod from scratches. I've accidently dropped my ipod a couple times and I was surprised how durable it was. The cases screen gets scratched up pretty easy, but you can still see clearly through the case.
