Features

Wireless convenience: Share files, online games, music, printers and other devices anywhere in your home or office, and get online fast when you connect your network to a high-speed Internet connection. Enjoy wireless range up to 1000' and transfer speeds ten times faster than 802.11b technology.

MIMO technology: The MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) uses smart antenna technology to increase speed, coverage and reliability of wireless systems. This feature is ideal for downloading music, sharing photos and online gaming.

How it works: It connects to your cable/DSL modem and communicates with your computers' 802.11g (backward-compatible with 802.11b) wireless network adapters, built-in wireless capability, or wired Ethernet adapters.

Compatibility: This router works interoperates with Belkin’s G Plus MIMO, Pre-N and legacy 802.11b/g devices.

Security features: A NAT firewall blocks hackers, while VPN (Virtual Private Networking) allows authorized remote access. Your communications are protected with 64- and 128-bit WEP (Wired Equivalency Protection) encryption.

Simple setup: The install wizard automatically detects your Internet settings for a fast setup.

I bought this last week hoping for the best. My expectations were surpassed with leaps and bounds.

Very, very easy to install great range and fantastic price(which was $10 less than advertised now).

I now can truly enjoy my laptop going from room to room checking emails, playing games on line, or
surfing the web. A must buy!

Unrealiable security and unstable re-connection

I'm not sure about other owners of this product but when my Belkin Wireless G+ MIMO router security is set to WPA-PSK or higher AND the 'SSID broadcast' is disabled, the laptop is unable to re-establish connection after the update. The router cannot be connected eventhough the laptop has been configured with the correct SSID.

I guess some may ask how does the Wireless router works with SSID broadcast disabled. Under normal performance, 'SSID broadcast' can be disabled and the client needs to configure the laptop to the hidden SSID. This reduce the router's visibility to the public hence less likely to be hacked.

If anyone is not concerned about security, then this product is okay (I guess). If security is important, you should give this product a miss.Bottom-line, poor security and stability. Well.. don't take it from me, check it out yourself.

this router works great with windows vista. 10min. after opening the box my wireless network was up and running, i have tried three other wireless routers and had problems. i am so thankful to have found this product it priced very low 59.99, very easyto use and set up, provides great performance, and makes wireless networking seem effortless.
